Wyatt Pottorff grew up in a small town in New Mexico. In Deming, Wyatt spent his early years doodling, painting, climbing on roofs and exploring derelict buildings and the desert with friends. His art often depicts altered worlds, animals and fierce characters. Stylistically his work is most influenced by Surrealist, Abstract Expressionist and Futurist art movements.
